Wells Park is a park on Wells Overlook Road in Lawrence, KS off N 1000 Rd about 3 miles south of Lawrence.
The park was donated in 1971 to Douglas County by William Wells. The main attraction is the 2 observation towers offering scenic views of the City of Lawrence. The park contains a short nature trail for hiking.
Passerine Pavilion is the newly constructed (2020) that is set as an overlook within the newly restored tallgrass prairie. The pavilion was designed to look like a grassland bird about to leap from the hill.
