Located at 1020 Mass Street in Downtown Lawrence, KS, The Granada’s building was originally built in 1928s as a silent movie theater. The building was renovated in 1934 as a movie theater. The Granada Theatre was closed on November 16th,1989.
The theater was then renovated again and repurposed as a comedy club/concert venue. The Granada has been hosting live music since 1993.
